Questa mattina siamo partiti alla volta di Berlino. Destinazione Bread & Butter, che dopo 4 anni a Barcellona torna nella sua città natale. La nuova location di B&B è un capolavoro storico e architettonico nel cuore di Berlino: l’aeroporto Tempelhof, ora dismesso. I principali marchi, nomi e designer dello street e urbanwear esporranno all’interno dell’imponente complesso (che comprende 7 hangar aeroportuali) le loro creazioni. Siamo sicuri che al nostro ritorno avremo un bel po’ di cose da raccontarvi! :)

This morning we have left for Berlin. We will be correspondant from the Bread&Butter that after 4 yerars in Barcelona get back to his hometown. The new location of the B&B is an architectural masterpiece: the Tempelhof Airport now closed. The leading brands and designers of the street and urbanwear will exhibit inside the 7 hangars…so stay tuned…we will bring you a lot of fresh news!

La fotografia di Mike Stimpson gioca con le immagini che ognuno di noi ha nella propria memoria, siano esse momenti storici, celebri scene del cinema o dell’arte, e indaga i probabili “dietro le quinte”. Al posto dei modelli ci sono però dei personaggi Lego, e il risultato è impagabile!

The ___Cards sono un’ idea del pluripremiato Asylum Studio di Singapore, ed un esempio di “tascabile” interactive design: in ogni set ce ne sono cinque, la parte colorata contiene il messaggio, quella bianca è invece forata per essere modificabile a proprio piacere. Da notare la pagina Flickr con le creazioni degli entusiasti acquirenti, e il sito dalle divertenti animazioni.

The ___Cards are an idea of the multiawarded Asylum Studio from Singapore and an example of “pocket” interactive design: every set is made of five, the coloured part holds a message while the white and pierced one could be modify according to one’s desire.
