Si prevedono festeggiamenti in grande stile per  il quinto anno di vita del Torino Music Festival (28/31 ottobre). Un weekend di Halloween decisamente in chiave electro, una line up prestigiosa e composta da veri e propri mostri sacri del genere: Sven Vath, 2 Many Dj’s, Chemical Brothers, Ellen Allien ed Ilario Alicante sono solo alcuni dei dj che si alterneranno in consolle. Pìcame ha partecipato alla tappa milanese dello Shock the World Tour, un evento che ci ha regalato grandi momenti: dalla presentazione del G-Shock, alle prove di resistenza effettuate dal suo creatore (il leggendario Mr. Ibe), alle performance live dei writer Owen, Boost e Rebus.

Tutto è pronto. Venerdì 10 settembre inizia il Milano Film Festival, annuale appuntamento di rassegna cinematografica organizzata da esterni che festeggia quest’anno la 15esima edizione. Un programma davvero ricco che oltre a una retrospettiva completa su Jim Jarmusch e la proiezione in anteprima in Italia del film su Joe Strummer Strummerville,  dedicherà ai film d’inchiesta una sezione speciale intitolata Colpe di Stato e darà voce anche al cinema sulla città di Milano con Incontri Italiani. Immancabili poi le rassegne di cortometraggi, lungometraggi e animazione assieme agli Outsider e alla musica che, con una ricerca davvero interessante, porterà sul palco artisti italiani ed internazionali. Sur Place è un’esibizione temporanea di urban byke situata ad Amsterdam e realizzata da Mediamatic. Abbiamo tempo fino al 22 di Agosto per visitarla.

Sur Place is a urban bike temporary exhibition located in Amsterdam and realized by Mediamatic. We are welcome until Agust 22.

Un progetto che parla una lingua inedita: un festival di musica elettronica che pone l’accento non soltanto su alcune tra le realizzazioni audio/video più interessanti nell’ambito elettronico, ma anche sui rapporti possibili tra il mondo del suono digitale e quello degli strumenti acustici ed elettrici. Pìcame ha incontrato Paolo Bragaglia, Direttore Artistico di Acusmatiq, giunto ormai alla sua quinta edizione.

A project that speaks a new language: a festival of electronic music that focuses not only on some of the more interesting outputs audio/video in the electronic field, but also on possible relations between the world of digital sound and acoustic and electric instruments.
