The Real Facebook

da | 24/06/2013 | Creatività

In the social network era, a lot of people prefer spending their spare time on Facebook rather than reading a book. That must be the concept behind the “Geschreven Portretten” (literally: “Written Portraits”) campaign, created by Wan Wanten Etcetera advertising agency to promote Dutch Book Week dedicated to (auto)biographies. The faces of Anne Frank, Vincent Van Gogh, Louis Van Gaal and Kader Abdollah, carved out from their biography pages, are so turned in “facebooks” in the true sense of the word… but beware: it’s just a graphic elaboration; no books were harmed in the making of this campaign.
