Aprendo la loro pagina Myspace noterete subito qualcosa di familiare. Mark e Joe, aka Homesic, sono i creatori della colonna sonora di Pìcame #5 e li ritroverete anche sul numero #6, in uscita il 17 aprile. I loro suoni digitali, con influenze house e break’n’beat, a volte nostalgici, a volte incalzanti, rispecchiano bene i nostri stati d’animo e ci accompagnano nelle lunghe notti che precedono ogni uscita del magazine.
Initially a trans-continental experiment, Homesic evolved along with the long distance friendship of the band’s two members (Mark is from the United States, Joe is from the North West of England). Despite being thousands of miles apart and never having met in the flesh, Mark and Joe share a similar passion for nostalgia which is evident in their musical style. Their music aims both to celebrate the magic and wonder of childhood, and to evoke the longing for freedom and innocence which was once felt.
